The police issued notices to owners of 10 tyre repair shops around Ambedkar Chowk in Pimpri on the Pune-Mumbai highway after seven bikers complained about vehicles getting punctured on Wednesday night as a result of nails strewn on the roads in the area

The police issued notices to owners of 10 tyre repair shops around Ambedkar Chowk in Pimpri on the Pune-Mumbai highway after seven bikers complained about vehicles getting punctured on Wednesday night as a result of nails strewn on the roads in the area.u00a0

"We suspect the role of puncture-wallahs who have set up shop on the highway," Sub-Inspector Sarjerao Gavade said.
