Congress-led INDIA bloc to stage major Delhi protest on October 12 as detained SFI activists plan fast

AICC general secretary KC Venugopal said the INDIA bloc would stage a major protest in Delhi on Monday.

Venugopal said the bloc recently met the President to convey its concerns on the matter and would also meet the Chief Justice of India on Monday. Rajya Sabha MP AA Rahim, along with detained activists of the Students' Federation of India (SFI), announced a hunger strike at Nangloi Stadium, where around 300 students had been detained.
