Delhi building collapse death toll rises to three after overnight rescue operation

The death toll in the four-storey building collapse in Delhi`s Rohini rose to three after rescue teams recovered two more bodies from the rubble during an overnight operation. Five people were rescued after the under-construction building collapsed amid heavy rainfall on Wednesday evening.

The death toll in the building collapse in northwest Delhi's Rohini climbed to three, with two more bodies pulled out from the rubble during the rescue operation that went on through the night, Delhi Fire Service (DFS) officials said on Thursday.

Five people were rescued during the operation, which has now concluded. It was launched on Wednesday evening after the four-storey building that was under construction collapsed amid heavy rain.
