A Delhi court yesterday asked its police to file an action taken report on a complaint filed against MNS chief Raj Thackeray for allegedly branding Bihar natives in Mumbai as infiltrators.

Metropolitan Magistrate Neeraj Gaur sought an action taken report from Delhi Police. The court was hearing Delhi-based lawyer Prem Shankar Sharma's plea against Thackeray. Sharma requested the court to issue directions to lodge a case against Thackeray for provocative and anti-national speech.

The complaint alleged that Thackeray threatened Bihar natives that they would be pushed out of Maharashtra. "His remarks are against national integration, as our constitution allows any person to live anywhere in the country," said Sharma.
