The news about Goa Board Result has put smiles on the faces of nearly 17,000 students, who have appeared for the Goa Board HSSC (Higher Secondary School Certificate) Exam this year. The examination was held in the month of Feb - March 2016. The GBSHSE Board exam began on 29th February with English / Marathi language paper and concluded with Political Science exam on 22nd March. Last year, the Goa HSSC Result was announced on 10th May. A total of 16,180 students including 8480 girls and 7700 boys had registered for the exam last year. Of this, 15,708 students had received their results in 2015 of which 13,838 managed to pass the exam. Goa board registered record success ratio of 88.10% last year. As expected, girls outperformed boys by a significant margin and their respective pass percentages were 89.10% and 83.77%.
