On October 15, the Mumbai High Court had granted the Shiv Sena permission to hold the October 24 rally at the grounds on the condition that no loudspeakers would be used and distributive sound systems would be installed.
However, according to the affidavit filed by the NGO, "Two loudspeakers were put up on the stage. The decibel levels on the day of the rally were more than 70 dB."
The affidavit further states that the political party had barricaded only four cricket pitches on the ground. A division bench of Chief Justice Mohit Shah and Justice N M Jamdar directed the political party to file its affidavit in response to the allegations on November 5. The same bench had granted the party the permission to hold the rally. u00a0
