India's largest airline IndiGo briefly faced technical problems with its ticket booking system on Friday, affecting access to some of its online services.
The airline acknowledged the issue on its website and said teams were working with its technology partner to restore normal operations.
In a message posted on its website, IndiGo said it was experiencing intermittent problems with its core reservation platform.
The issue meant that some customers could face difficulties while accessing the airline's online services, including its booking platform.
IndiGo said its teams were working on priority to resolve the problem and apologised to passengers for the inconvenience caused.
An airline official later confirmed that the technical issue had been resolved and that the reservation system was functioning normally.
IndiGo uses the Navitaire reservation system for its operations.
The brief disruption came just two days after the airline reported a similar issue with its core reservation platform on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, IndiGo had informed customers through a post on X that it was facing intermittent problems with the reservation system.
The recurrence of the technical issue within a few days comes as the airline continues to operate one of the largest flight networks in the country.
IndiGo currently operates around 2,200 flights every day, connecting passengers to destinations across India and internationally.
The airline carried around 80.82 lakh passengers on domestic routes in July, according to the figures cited in the report.
Its domestic market share stood at 67.4 per cent during the month, underlining its dominant position in India's aviation sector.
The latest technical issues come months after IndiGo faced major operational disruptions in December 2025, when widespread flight disruptions affected passengers and the airline subsequently faced regulatory action.
The airline's reservation system again experienced intermittent problems on Friday, affecting access to some online services.
