Flip Flop Siddhartha Das
At a time when investigations into the Sheena Bora murder case are at a crucial stage, statements from her father, Siddhartha Das, have confused CBI. Das has told CBI that he last saw Sheena in 2010 at Karimganj in Assam. Ironically, Das had told cops from Mumbai Police that he last spoke to Sheena in 2002. Das has also told the CBI that he even asked Indrani how she could kill her daughter. Flummoxed, the CBI officers have requested Das to make himself available for one more round of questioning to probe if he was in touch with Indrani post Sheena's alleged murder. Let's see what Das says this time.

Take Them Elsewhere
Encouraged by the recent move of their officers to shift former media baron Peter Mukerjea to Delhi for questioning and conducting a polygraph test, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is making it a routine. Dayanidhi Maran's lawyers have been told that their client could be taken to an unknown destination - not necessarily Delhi - for questioning by the CBI, and Madan Mitra of Trinamool has already been told he has to travel to next door Cuttack for questioning. While Maran is wondering where would the country's premier investigating agency would take him for questioning, Mitra has asked his confidants to search for Oriya friends for help during his stay in Cuttack.

What's wrong Mithun?
Former Bollywood star and current Trinamool Rajya Sabha MP Mithun Chakravarty has returned his special passport to the Ministry of Extral Affairs, saying he is happy traveling with his standard passport.

The former actor also wrote to the Parliamentary Secretariat that he will not attend the current session because of his illness. Is it the pressure from CBI and ED for his earnings from Sarada and Rose Valley that is bothering the Disco Dancer?

Last Word
Is it the turn of the government to put some pressure on the media? Else, how come a top media house, which has its headquarters in Mumbai, is saddled with a huge income tax notice. Interestingly, like the one that was meant for NDTV but pending for long, this one is also in the same bracket.
