SGNP carries out awareness drive after leopard eats dog in society

A week after the video showing a leopard entering the lobby of a building in Mulund and mauling a dog went viral, officials from the Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP) with volunteers from Mumbaikars of SGNP carried out a leopard awareness program at various residential societies in Mulund, which are adjacent to the park


The team from the forest department with more than 10 volunteers carried out a daylong leopard awareness session at High Land Park, Teakwood society and Lok Nisarg Society.


Beware: Residents of Mulund societies were informed of the dos and don'ts in case of a leopard sighting and were also told that children should be accompanied by seniors.
