Delhi Hough Court on Friday stayed the arrest of St. Stephen's College professor Satish Kumar, who is accused of sexually assaulting a woman student
New Delhi: Delhi Hough Court on Friday stayed the arrest of St. Stephen's College professor Satish Kumar, who is accused of sexually assaulting a woman student.
The stay has been put till August 17, the next date of hearing.
The student, who is doing her PhD under the supervision of Satish Kumar, an assistant professor in the college's chemistry department, has lodged an FIR against him alleging that she was sexually assaulted by him.
She has also alleged that college principle Valson Thampu tried to protect him when the matter was reported.
