A crocodile's search for water ended up with the reptile being trapped and tied up to an electric pole.
The bizarre incident saw a 10-foot long crocodile enter the residential area in Darapur Raseni village in Uttar Pradesh's Firozabad district supposedly in search for water.
There was panic among the residents of the village after spotting the amphibian but they managed to then tie the crocodile to an electric pole.

The footage shows people surrounding the crocodile while it is tied up.
Many parts of India are facing drought-like situation and it is affecting animals too.
Later, the villagers called the forest officials. The animal is likely to be released in River Chamba in the National Chambal Sanctuary.
