According to AAP, party workers gathered in the state capital to protest against what they described as frequent and unannounced power outages affecting residents across Uttar Pradesh
The party alleged that police intervened during the protest and detained several participants
AAP accused the state government of failing to provide a reliable electricity supply and criticised the administration's handling of the issue
AAP claimed that several party workers and supporters were also taken into custody during the protest
As part of the protest, party members reportedly carried out a symbolic funeral procession and submitted a memorandum addressed to the Governor through local administrative officials
