International Workers' Day, also known as Labour Day or May Day, is celebrated annually on May 1 to honour the achievements and rights of workers

The day commemorates the struggle for better working conditions, fair wages, and a reasonable eight-hour daily limit on work

May 1 was chosen in 1889 by the Second International to honor these labour activists and advocate for workers' rights globally

Labourers day marks the dedication and hard work of employees across all industries who keep society functioning

This day also promotes solidarity among workers and unions, emphasizing that progress is driven by people
