The chief minister briefed the Prime Minister on steps taken by the new government to bring peace and harmony across Manipur

CM Singh urged special focus on women’s empowerment in both the hills and the valley of the state

The team met Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who approved construction of 5,000 houses for Internally Displaced Persons under PMAY-G

CM Singh also held meetings separately on Monday with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and BJP President Nitin Nabin to discuss key issues concerning Manipur.
