People across the country are experiencing severe cold as brave chilly mornings make the conditions quite chilly

With temperatures dipping down to single digits in North India, the AQI across major cities such as Delhi and Agra continues to remain a matter of concern 

Early morning fog reduces visibility, disrupting rail and road traffic in parts of India

The pollution in Delhi-NCR has deteriorated to such an extent that it has now begun to severely impact retail trade, with a sharp decline in market footfall

The AQI levels in other cities of northern India have also reached the 'severe' category

Similar light-fog conditions were reported in other cities across the state. In Lucknow, residents woke up to light fog, suggesting slightly improved visibility and air quality
