A Hyderabad court has sentenced five Nepali nationals to seven days in jail after they were convicted in a woman harassment case that triggered widespread outrage online. The incident occurred near the Nizam College PG Hostel area when a woman alleged that one of the accused passed inappropriate remarks and attempted to grab her arm while she was travelling with her husband. After she raised an alarm, locals rushed to the spot, confronted the accused, and allegedly thrashed them before handing them over to police.
