Paris-based startup Tornyol is bringing aerial combat technology to backyards and malaria-plagued regions to hunt down mosquitoes.

The company's flagship creation, a 40-gram autonomous quadcopter, actively patrols the sky.

When it detects an airborne pest, it launches a high-speed interception run and shreds the target with its propellers.
