Raccoon goes on drunken rampage in US liquor store

A raccoon broke into the closed Virginia liquor store and hit the bottom shelf, where the scotch and whisky were stored, leaving bottles smashed, and alcohol pooled on the floor. On Saturday morning, an employee at the store found the ‘trash panda' passed out on the bathroom floor.

"He fell through one of the ceiling tiles and went on a full-blown rampage, drinking everything," said an officer at the local animal control who took the raccoon to the animal shelter. After a few hours of sleep the raccoon was safely released back to the wild.
