A power nap is a short daytime sleep, usually lasting 10 to 30 minutes, meant to restore energy, improve focus and reduce stress without causing grogginess.

Highlighting the importance of rest, South Korea recently hosted a unique "power nap contest" at Seoul's Yeouido Hangang Park amid growing concerns over the country's sleep crisis.

Organised by the city government, the event aimed to raise awareness about chronic sleep deprivation caused by South Korea's intense work and study culture.
