The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has released shocking bodycam footage showing the fatal shooting of 35-year-old Gurpreet Singh, a Sikh man seen performing Gatka, a traditional Sikh martial art with swords, in downtown LA on July 13. The incident unfolded near Crypto.com Arena after officers ordered Singh to drop his weapon. Singh, wearing a blue turban, waved the sword in martial art movements and at one point cut his own face. He then retrieved a water bottle from his vehicle and threw it at police before officers opened fire.
