Venezuela was rattled by a powerful 6.2 magnitude earthquake, sending shockwaves across the Mene Grande oil hub region and prompting widespread evacuations. The quake’s epicenter, located east-northeast of Mene Grande, was reported at a shallow depth by the USGS, intensifying the tremors felt across major cities including Caracas and Maracaibo.
