Madhya Pradesh batsman Satyam Choudhary's unbeaten 73 helped the hosts score 191 for five, responding to Mumbai's 304 in a Ranji Trophy Group 'A' match at the Holkar Stadium here yesterday

Satyam smashed 11 fours in his valiant knock and hosts now are 113 runs short of Mumbai's first innings total. Dropped from the India squad, Zaheer Khan didn't look that convincing in his 17 overs. He just bagged the wicket of Madhya Pradesh captain Devendra Bundela.

Earlier, opener Kaustubh Pawar (111) hit his third first-class century as Mumbai were all out for 304. Pawar and tailender Javed Khan (27) shared a 42-run last-wicket partnership. MP pacer Ishwar Pandey was the most successful bowler claiming 6-54.
