Sri Lanka scored 213 for three off 41.1 overs in a rain-reduced second one-day international against Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Friday.

Opener Upul Tharanga topscored for Sri Lanka with an unbeaten 86 off 112 balls while Melbourne ODI hero Angelo Mathews was not out 17 off 11 balls.

Shane Watson was the best of the Australian bowlers, taking two for 34 off eight overs.

The Australian innings will be reduced to 38 overs and the match will be decided under the the Duckworth-Lewis method.
