India's ICC ICC Women's ODI World Cup-winning team head coach Amol Muzumdar is confident about the team's preparations and reckoned that Harmanpreet Kaur & Co are on the right track heading into the ICC Women's T20 World Cup beginning in England on June 12.

India will start their campaign at the mega event against arch-rivals Pakistan at Birmingham on June 14.

"It [preparatory camp] has always been an integral part of this team. We believe in preparing well for every challenge in front of us. This team is on the right track and we would be hoping to have a very good camp before we set off for the World Cup," Muzumdar said on the sidelines of the International Institute of Sports and Management's degree distribution ceremony on Sunday.

When asked by mid-day about the challenges of playing in English conditions, Muzumdar replied: "Travelling to England is always a challenge, but this team and this set of players is ready for it. We had a very good series last year, that was the first time we had beaten England [3-2] in England in a T20I series. The experience and confidence is there, all we need to do is travel and do well there."

Muzumdar also admitted that his team will miss pace bowling all-rounder Amanjot Kaur, who is out of action for the next four to five months due to back injury. "She [Amanjot] is injured and it is very difficult to replace somebody like Amanjot. She has been doing consistently well for India, we will miss her, but injuries are part of the game, and she has had a bad one and will be out for at least four-five months. I hope she recovers and comes back stronger," Muzumdar said.
