Big partnerships crippled us: Siddle

Australia pacer Peter Siddle said allowing the Indian batsmen build huge partnerships has hurt the visitors in the series.

"We have let ourselves down by letting partnerships get too big on us. If you take that out of the equation, our bowling unit has been pretty strong.

We have built pressure from both ends, whether it was the spinners getting the wickets or quicks at the other end," said Siddle who's 5 for 71 helped Australia bowl out India for 499 after Murali Vijay and Shikhar Dhawan put on 289-run opening-wicket stand.

Siddle promised Australia will put up a fight: "The first session is going to be big for us. We will try as hard as we can to score and not lose too many wickets."
