Basu Dev, curator of the newly built JSCA International Stadium, expects the team batting first to score approximately 350 runs during the India-England today.

"I have prepared a sporty wicket which will have true bounce. The bounce will not be too low or too high. The track is a bit green too and will dry as the match progresses. I expect the team batting first to score around 350 runs," said Basu Dev, a Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) employee.

Daljit Singh, chairman of the ground and pitches committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), along with zonal curator Ashish Kumar Bhowmik, were also here to oversee the pitch preparation.

"Daljit Singh saw the pitch and told me it is a very good one - one of the best he has seen in recent times," added Basu Dev, who is a long-standing groundsmen of the JSCA at the Keenan Stadium in Jamshedpur which hosts Jharkhand's home Ranji Trophy matches.
