Striker speaks about how the 'bola (the ball in Brazilian) is like the most jealous woman in the world and if not treated well, she will not love you', in his first authentic biography in English titled Neymar

Neymar celebrates his second goal against Cameroon at Estadio Nacional in Brasilia on Monday.

Brasilia: "A bola (the ball in Brazilian) is like the most jealous woman in the world. If you do not treat her well, she will not love you and she can even hurt you. I love her to bits," Neymar said to his biographer Luca Caioli for his first authentic biography in English, "Neymar". Caioli, an Italian journalist, simply put it as, "A bola has always been his love, an object of desire."

Having received a pass from Marcelo in the middle of the Cameroon half, Neymar ran through the African defence, cut inside, and unleashed a right-footer to score Brazil's opening goal - his fourth of the tournament.

Obviously the most important part was that the bola never seemed to leave his foot, before he intended to put it on the right side of the net of the helpless Cameroon goalie.

The Garrincha Stadium roared to its highest decibel. It could not have been more apt a goal to dedicate to the man who was the ‘Joy of the people' for Brazil. Neymar's dribbles reminded many of Garrincha. And with 35 goals from 52 games, he is now sixth in the all-time highest scorers' list from Brazil.
