Bhajji was relaxing in the balcony outside the dressing room when few fans from Level II of the Garware Pavilion used foul language. It went on for a while before âthe Turbanator' lost his cool.
Harbhajan allegedly threatened not to spare the spectator and was charged up to storm into the stand. But his Rest of India teammate Suresh Raina and national selector-cum-coach of the team Vikram Rathour calmed him down.
Level II is quite close to the dressing room and provides the best view to catch a glimpse of the players.u00a0An eyewitness toldu00a0SUNDAY MiD DAY: "A fan was constantly using bad language against Harbhajan. It was very much unacceptable. Bhajji did not like it when it went on for a long time."
Meanwhile, the fan, who caused the trouble, ran away in a jiffy once the security was informed about the incident. The Level II and III of the Garware Pavilion were immediately vacated to avoid any further disturbance.
Harbhajan, who has generally received a good reception from the Wankhede crowd thanks to his Mumbai Indians connection, was also irked during India versus England Test in November last year. The fan was identified then, but was let off after a stern warning.u00a0
