Rizvi Springfield's (Bandra) spin duo of Sidak Singh (left-arm) and Azim Sheikh (off-spinner) took five wickets as against Shardashram (Marathi) were bowled out for a paltry 39 runs on Day Two of the Harris Shield Elite Division semi-final at Azad Maidan yesterday.

At close of play Rizvi were 109-8, with have a comfortable lead of 348 runs and through to the final given their first innings lead.

While Azimu00a0 gave away 15 runs off his 4.4 overs, Sidak was at his miserly bestu00a0-- giving away just one run, with six of his seven overs being maidens.

"It was a bowler-friendly wicket. I hope to bowl better in the final," said Sidak refusing to take any credit for his stellar show.

Rizvi coach Raju Pathak said: "Sidak's performance is good but he is capable of a lot more."
