West Indies race to 79 runs for the loss of one wicket at the end of the powerplay. Shai Hope scored an unbeaten 28 runs off 16 balls, which included 1 four and 3 sixes. Meanwhile, his opening partner Jewel Andrew was dismissed for 21 runs off 16 deliveries.

For India, Axar Patel was the best bowler as he got the only wicket of the innings so far. He finished his only over by conceding 8 runs and taking a wicket.

Earlier, after winning the toss, Shreyas Iyer was happy to bowl first. The Indian skipper said that his players are confident going into the game before confirming that the hosts will play with the same team.

"We are going to bowl first. We have a fair idea about how it's playing in the first innings. So based on that, we took this decision. This is going to be a decisive game for us, and we have to be in that frame of mind where we can't get complacent because we know how disruptive the West Indies team are. They've got a power-packed lineup until number nine. So putting these thoughts all in mind and going forward, I feel that we need to be in a strong headspace and see to it that we are winning each session. We're going with the same team." Iyer said.

West Indies captain Shai Hope admitted that he would have bowled first too had he won the toss. Hope further added that his team were looking forward to the challenge to tie the series 2-2 going into the final match.

"We would have fielded as well. It's a must-win game, so we need to pull this one back. We need to give a foundation, just being clear about how we want to go. We have to wait and see; it looks good. Needs to be open-minded. Two changes for us - Pooran is out. Jewel Andrew comes in for his first game on the tour and (Romario) Shepherd comes back for (Quentin) Sampson." Hope said.
