IND vs ZIM 1st T20I: Vaibhav Sooryavanshi says he will give 100 per cent for Team India

Team India is set to lock horns with Zimbabwe in the three-match T20I series. The first match is scheduled to be played on July 23 at the Harare Sports Club.

Ahead of the first match, several cricket fans will keep a tab on Team India's swashbuckling batsman Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. In the previous series, the left-handed batsman didn't taste much success, but he said that ups and downs are part of the game and will continue to give 100 per cent to the team.

"Yes, there have been several ups and down in the last four months; it's part of cricket it will keep happening but I have to follow the process and give my 100 per cent for the team," he said.

He also said that the coaches are helping him with all the resources that are required and also expressed confidence ahead of the first clash against Zimbabwe.

"It's an obvious thing that whatever I want (guidance etc), the coaches are making it available and whatever practice I require I am getting that. Feeling very good, there is confidence also," said Sooryavanshi.

Along with Sooryavanshi, Team India's think tank will also expect skipper Shreyas Iyer to deliver a big knock. The right-handed batsman, too, will be eager to garner crucial runs with the willow.

Since his appointment as captain in the shortest format, Team India has suffered two consecutive defeats against Ireland and England. It will be interesting to see if Iyer and his men bounce back against Zimbabwe.

Additionally, wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson has been dropped from India's squad for the upcoming series.

The second and third T20I matches between the teams will be played on July 25 and 26, respectively, at the same venue.
