India's batsmen have not requested video analyst CKM Dhananjai for footage of where they have been going wrong despite their poor run of scores at Melbourne and Sydney.

"There was a time in the past when some batsmen used to request for footage. But, these days there is a routine exercise where they are shown footage of their recent matches and knocks on a bi-weekly basis and also footage of past matches at particular grounds. So, none of the batsmen have actually asked to see footage of how they have been getting out," a member of the coaching staff told MiD DAY yesterday.

"For example, a day before arriving at Perth, players saw footage of the last Perth Test (in 2007-08). It has become a part of the process now. Wherever we travel, we go back and see footage of that ground.

Sometimes, the coach or captain decide to convene a team meeting in which we revisit particular footage. But, this team doesn't believe in revisiting the past so much. They don't see the point of it. There are few players who do, but on a whole, it's just a routine exercise," he added.

"Most of the players are aware of where they are going wrong. There's a lot of professionalism. Most of the time, they see footage of how they got out immediately after coming back to the dressing room. After that, they like to forget about it and move on," he added.
