In the IPL 2026 match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) secured a victory by seven wickets at the Ekana Cricket Stadium B Ground in Lucknow.

After suffering a loss, CSK's captain Ruturaj Gaikwad said, "We came up with a plan, we did try to hit hard lengths. They played some extaordinary shots. I think there was still something there in the hard lengths, but their openers played really well. You just have to accept it sometimes, last time too they started well. Kartik played really well and I'm confident that we will click in the final two games. First challenge is to get to Chennai and then think of what to improve, try and assess the conditions. It is simple and quite easy from here. We have to win both".
