In the IPL 2026 final match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Gujarat Titans (GT) have reached the score of 63 runs for the loss of three wickets in 10 overs at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Having been put to bat first, GT's opening batsman Sai Sudharsan managed to score 12 runs in 12 balls, including two boundaries. Captain Shubman Gill registered 10 runs in eight balls, with the help of two boundaries.
Facing 18 balls, Nishant Sindhu scored 20 runs, which included three boundaries.
Washington Sundar and wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler are unbeaten at the crease.
Bengaluru's Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rasikh Salam, and Josh Hazlewood have bagged one wicket each. Jacob Duffy and Krunal Pandya are yet to claim any wickets.
Earlier, RCB's skipper Rajat Patidar won the toss and elected to bowl first against Gujarat.
The Royal Challengers entered the title clash with the same combination.
After winning the toss, RCB's skipper Patidar said, "We'll bowl first. (On the surface) It's a pretty good wicket. The ball will come nicely on the bat, but to be honest, it will not change in the 40 overs. So we'll try to get them early as possible. (Mood in the dressing room for the final) A lot of memories last year, but I think it was in 2025. It's 2026. We have to do our best to win this match. (How you hold your nerve?) That's important, to keep yourself in the present, not to be too much far ahead. Let's control the controllables, that's it. (On the support) Always we love to play in this stadium because of the crowd, the way they came and especially the RCB supporters - 12th man army. They came in every stadium and supported us. (Team combination) The same team".
On the other hand, the Titans entered the clash with one change, where Arshad Khan came in place of Sai Kishore.
