In the IPL 2026 match against Mumbai Indians (MI), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) emerged victorious by four wickets at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

In an attempt to chase a target of 148 runs, the Knight Riders scored 148 runs for the loss of six wickets in 18.5 overs.

Impact Player, Finn Allen, departed on eight runs in five balls, including two boundaries. Skipper Ajinkya Rahane departed after scoring 21 runs in 17 balls, with the help of four boundaries.

Cameron Green was dismissed on four runs in eight balls. Manish Pandey accumulated 45 runs in 33 balls, with the help of six boundaries. Rovman Powell also played a knock of 40 runs off 30 deliveries, laced with four boundaries and two maximums. Tejasvi Singh Dahiya registered 11 runs in 12 balls, including two boundaries.

Rinku Singh and Anukul Roy stayed unbeaten. Facing five balls, Rinku scored nine runs, with the help of two boundaries, whereas Anukul scored four runs in the same number of balls.

Mumbai's Corbin Bosch returned with the figures of three wickets for 30 runs in three overs. Deepak Chahar, Jasprit Bumrah, and Impact Player, Allah Ghazanfar, bagged one wicket each. Captain Hardik Pandya, Raghu Sharma, and Will Jacks went wicketless in the IPL 2026 match against KKR.

Earlier, having been put to bat first, Mumbai Indians' (MI) wicketkeeper-batsman Ryan Rickelton departed on six runs in seven balls, including a boundary. Veteran batsman Rohit Sharma scored 15 runs in 13 balls, including two maximums.

Naman Dhir was dismissed on a three-ball duck. Suryakumar Yadav managed to score 15 runs in six balls, with the help of two boundaries and a maximum.

Later, Tilak Varma lost his wicket on 20 runs after facing 32 balls, and also smashed a maximum. Facing 27 balls, captain Hardik Pandya scored 26 runs, including two boundaries and a maximum. Will Jacks returned to the pavilion on 14 runs, which came in seven balls, including a boundary and a maximum. Corbin Bosch garnered an unbeaten 32 runs off 18 deliveries, laced with three boundaries and two maximums. Deepak Chahar was dismissed on 10 runs in seven balls, which included two boundaries. With this, the "Paltan" posted a total of 147 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs against the Knight Riders.

Kolkata's Saurabh Dubey and Cameron Green managed to pick up two wickets each. Having completed four overs, Dubey was smashed for 34 runs, whereas Green leaked 23 runs in three overs. Kartik Tyagi also bagged two wickets by conceding 37 runs in four overs. Sunil Narine also chipped in with one wicket. Anukul Roy and Varun Chakaravarthy went wicketless in the IPL 2026 match against the "Paltan".
