In the IPL 2026 match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Punjab Kings (PBKS) emerged victorious by ..... runs at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh PCA Stadium in New Chandigarh.

In an attempt to chase a target of 255 runs, LSG scored 200 runs for the loss of five wickets in 20 overs.

Opening batsman Mitchell Marsh scored 40 runs in 28 balls, including three boundaries and two maximums. Fellow opening batsman Ayush Badoni departed after scoring 35 runs in 21 balls, including five boundaries and a maximum.

Skipper Rishabh Pant accumulated 43 runs off 23 balls, laced with a boundary and four maximums. Nicholas Pooran scored nine runs in nine balls, including a boundary. Facing 22 balls, Aiden Markram registered 42 runs, with the help of three boundaries and the same number of maximums.

Mukul Choudhary and Impact Player Himmat Singh stayed unbeaten. Choudhary scored 21 runs in 17 balls, including a boundary and a maximum, whereas Himmat also scored one run in one ball.

PBKS' Marco Jansen returned with the figures of two wickets for 37 runs in four overs. Arshdeep Singh, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Impact Player Vijaykumar Vyshak bagged one wicket each. Xavier Bartlett went wicketless in the IPL 2026 match against LSG.

IPL 2026: Punjab Kings' innings' summary

Earlier, having put to bat first, wicketkeeper-batsman Prabhsimran Singh registered a one-ball duck. Fellow opening batsman Priyansh Arya played a stunning knock of 93 runs off just 37 deliveries, laced with four boundaries and nine maximums.

Cooper Connolly also smashed 87 runs in 46 balls, with the help of eight boundaries and seven maximums. Skipper Shreyas Iyer departed after scoring five runs in six balls. Nehal Wadhera was dismissed for 13 runs in seven balls, which included a boundary and a maximum.

Later, Shashank Singh scored 17 runs in six balls, including a boundary and two maximums. Marcus Stoinis and Marco Jansen stayed unbeaten. Facing 16 balls, Stoinis scored 29 runs, with the help of two boundaries and the same number of maximums, whereas Jansen scored one run in one ball. With this, the Kings posted a total of 254 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs.

LSG's M Siddharth claimed two wickets by conceding 35 runs in three overs. Prince Yadav also returned with the figures of two wickets for 25 runs in four overs. Mohammed Shami and Mohsin Khan chipped in with one wicket each. Ayush Badoni, Avesh Khan, and Aiden Markram went wicketless in the IPL 2026 match against PBKS.
