Rajasthan Royals scored 150 runs at the end of their first innings, in a rain-affected match against the Mumbai Indians in Guwahati.
Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi started their innings with a bang, scoring 59 runs in the shortened powerplay of 3.2 overs. Jaiswal was the star for RR, scoring 77 runs in 32 balls to propel the hosts to a big score.

The 15-year-old shone under pressure to give RR a flying start along with Jaiswal. Shardul Thakur got rid of the dangerous Sooryavanshi to give RR the opening breakthrough.
Riyan Parag scored a quickfire 20 to keep the RR innings going as Mumbai Indians' bowlers were taken to the cleaners.
For the Mumbai Indians, Allah Ghazanfar was the star with the bowl, taking two wickets in his 2 overs. Bumrah was wicketless in his 3 overs, conceding 31 runs.
Earlier, Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to bowl first after a lengthy rain delay. Riyan Parag admitted that he was looking to bowl first, too
MI will hope that their strong batting line-up will be able to chase down the total, as they look to bounce back from a defeat against the Delhi Capitals. Rohit Sharma started the season well and hopes to keep his momentum going. With Hardik Pandya back in the side, MI have more firepower in the team.
