Kolkata: The Lodha Committee report is likely to top the discussions as the BCCI holds a crucial working committee meeting - the last before its Annual General Meeting (AGM) next month - here today.

The Lodha Committee had earlier suspended Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) from the Indian Premier League (IPL) for breach of the tournament's operational rules.

The four-member BCCI working group, which submitted its recommendations to the IPL governing council yesterday, will also table it before the working committee.

It is learnt that a recommendation will be put forward to have two new teams picked through a tender process.

These two teams will be either sign a two-year or 10-year contract with the BCCI. Most probably, a 10-year deal will be struck to ensure that the IPL will be a 10-team affair eventually after Chennai and RR return to the fray.

The working group, which was formed after the Lodha Committee suspended CSK and RR, is headed by IPL chief Rajiv Shukla.
