The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said that the upcoming limited-overs series against Pakistan will be held as scheduled, despite Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik insulting India

National political outfit BJP demanded the series to be called off in the wake of Pakistan minister's "insulting" statement.

"There is no question of calling off the tour. All the arrangements have been made and the tour was planned much earlier. Politics should not be mixed with sports and the tour will go on," BCCI vice-president and IPL Chairman Rajiv Shukla told PTI yesterday.

The BJP slammed Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde yesterday for not responding appropriately to Malik through some words.u00a0
