Former England spinner Monty Panesar will not be able to take part in British reality TV show Dancing On Ice having suffered an injury during training. According to the show's producers, Panesar, 35, was practising some of his moves on the ice when he crashed and broke his ankle. Meanwhile, the former cricketer however, seems unperturbed by the injury.
Monty Panesar
The only thing on his mind yesterday was the possibility of England beating Australia in the second Ashes Test in Adelaide. "If ever England needed Barmy Army in the 12th man role it is tomorrow! Get the energy out, pen a new song, challenge the vocal chords, do whatever to help England get over d line. Brick-by-brick, let's chip away on this Aussie total. Our leader @root66 showing us how. He needs a partner and some luck. Go England @ECB_cricket," Panesar wrote on Twitter. Sadly for him, it wasn't to be as England lost the match this morning.
