At the time of going to press, the India women were 112 for three, chasing 188. Thirush Kamini (28) and Smriti Mandhana (51) gave India a flying start before Kate Cross broke the 76-run opening partnership trapping Kamini leg before.

Cross came back to dismiss the well-set Mandhana. Heather Knight then put India under pressure when she dismissed No 3 batswoman Poonam Raut for 12.
