Rohit in as Yuvraj's replacement, but Kohli to play third Test

Virat Kohli is all set to play his first Test on Indian soil in the final Test against India in Mumbai on Tuesday.
Although Mumbai batsman Rohit Sharma was picked as Yuvraj Singh's replacement here yesterday, it is Kohli, who will make the final XI, a source told MiD DAY.

It can be recalled that Kohli made his Test debut in the West Indies earlier in the year and did not hit the high notes. Experts reckon he has a weakness against the short ball. On the England tour, he arrived before the third Test at Birmingham as replacement for the injured Yuvraj, but didn't figure in the longer version of the game.

Mumbai will provide him his great, big chance. y including Rohit Sharma in the Mumbai Test squad, the selectors have probably shown that the classy Mumbai batsman will be on the plane to Australia next month.
