Young Pakistan left-hand batsman Umar Amin, who is part of the 15-man contingent for the upcoming Asia Cup, is 'restless' to make his international debut, for he would be using little master Sachin Tendunkar's bat.

Amin, who averages 42 in first class cricket, is excited to have made the cut into the national side, and said that if given an opportunity during the June 15-24 quadrangular one-day series, he would be using one of Tendulkar's bats, which was gifted to him by Shoaib Akhtar.

"I still have that Sachin Tendulkar bat and Inshallah (god willing) I will be making my debut with that bat," Amin told PakPassion.net.

The Rawalpindi born southpaw is upbeat about his chances of performing well in Sri Lanka.

"I think my form currently is pretty good after the recently concluded Pentangular Cup in Karachi," Amin said.

He is also hopeful of cementing his place in the senior squad through his performance in the tournament.

u00a0"I would just try to do well in this Asian Cup and build my confidence and carry that confidence against Australia and England. If I get a chance I want to avail it and never give an opportunity to the selectors to drop me," Amin said.
