Sachin knows when to call it a day: Lara

"Sachin knows what is right time to go. He should not be pushed. He is still a great player and we need to enjoy his game. He is not only India's, but cricket's gift," Lara told CNN-IBN on Saturday.

The Trinidadian remarked: "I am not sure if I am correct, but I have noticed that he is not playing shorter format of the game to prolong his Test career. "He is a big asset. You don't just push a guy like him. Yes, you can have your opinions. But for me, he is a great player and he is still a great player."
