Saha, Murali Vijay ruled out of remaining SL tour

Colombo: Madhya Padesh wicketkeeper Naman Ojha and Karnataka batsman Karun Nair were yesterday named as replacements for injured Wriddhiman Saha and Murali Vijay, respectively, for the remainder of India's tour of Sri Lanka.

"Saha has sustained a strain in his lower right hamstring and would require rehabilitation and strength training to recover completely," BCCI said in a statement.

"Vijay has sustained mild reoccurrence on his pre-existing injury in his right hamstring and would need further strength training to recover completely," the release added.

Bengal glovesman Saha was retired hurt during India's fourth innings on Sunday but returned to bat at the post-tea session. He also kept wickets.
