West Indies all out for 304 in first innings, India make brisk start

West Indies were all out for 304 in the first innings against India on the second day of the first Test at the Ferozeshah Kotla grounds here Monday


India were 39 for no loss in their first innings at lunch on the second day of the first cricket Test at the Ferozeshah Kotla here Monday after bowling out the West Indies for 304 earlier in the morning session.

Virender Sehwag was batting on 15 with Gautam Gambhir at 22 when they broke for lunch.

Resuming at 256 for 5, West Indies could add only 48 runs to their overnight score.

Pragyan Ojha finished with figures of six for 72 while debutant off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin bagged three for 81. Shivnarine Chanderpaul was the top scorer for West Indies with 118 runs.
