Yuvraj's double ton could mean bad news for Raina

Yuvraj Singh didn't look back from where he left off on Sunday and scored a brilliant double century for North Zone against Central Zone in the Duleep Trophy yesterday at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium

At stumps on the second day, Central were reeling at 146 for five in response to North's 451. Yuvraj was dismissed (caught and bowled) by his former India teammate Murali Kartik for 208.

Undefeated on 133 overnight, Yuvraj took only 243 balls for his 208. He slammed 33 fours and three sixes.

Central are still 306 away from the vital first innings lead. Indeed, they face a huge task.

Yuvraj's double ton could mean things will get harder for Suresh Raina, who was part of the Test XI in the last series against the touring New Zealanders.

Raina is a better one-day player and could well have to make room for the in-form Yuvraj when the Englishmen take on India for a four-Test series next month.

England have recently stressed on specialists for each form of the game and it will be interesting to see how India's new chairman of selectors Sandeep Patil views things. u00a0
