In the first innings of the fourth Test match against England, Rishabh Pant played a knock of 37 runs off 48 deliveries, including two boundaries and a maximum. Later, he was forced to leave the field after getting hit on his foot

However, his runs were enough to help him join the likes of Indian batsmen who have scored more than 1000 Test runs on English soil

So far, with a score of 37 runs, Pant became just the sixth Indian batsman to achieve the feat of completing 1000 runs in the longest format of the game in England

The other five batsmen are Sachin Tendulkar (1575), Rahul Dravid (1376), Sunil Gavaskar (1152), Virat Kohli (1096), and KL Rahul (1035, completed earlier in this match)

On the other hand, Rahul, who accumulated 46 runs in 98 balls, with the help of four boundaries, also achieved the same feat during the first innings of Manchester's clash
