So far, KL Rahul has represented India in 65 Test matches and has scored 3985 runs. With a highest score of 199 runs in the format, he also has 11 tons and 20 half-centuries to his name

Yashasvi Jaiswal

One of Team India's most consistent batsmen, Yashasvi Jaiswal, has donned the Indian whites on 26 occasions. So far, he has garnered 2428 runs, with his career best score of an unbeaten 214 runs. The left-hander also has seven centuries and 12 half-centuries in the format

Shubman Gill

Team India's skipper Shubman Gill has accumulated 2839 runs in 39 Test matches. He has also registered 10 centuries and eight half-centuries under his name. The right-hander also has a top score of 269 runs in the format and will be expected to deliver big knocks against the Proteas

Sai Sudharsan

Not much-experienced Sai Sudharsan has played just five Test matches for India. He has scored 273 runs, including two half-centuries for the side. It will be interesting to see if the left-hander finds his place in India's team for the South Africa series
