In the second Test match against South Africa, Team India's Rishabh Pant played a knock of 27 runs off 24 deliveries, which was laced with two boundaries and the same number of maximums

With his he broke the tally with former Team India cricketer Virender Sehwag to become the leading six-hitter for the side in the format's history

Pant now leads the charts with 92 sixes, followed by Sehwag (90), Rohit Sharma (88), Ravindra Jadeja (80), and MS Dhoni (78)

The 28-year-old cricketer is also placed seventh on the all-time list for most sixes in Test cricket, with England captain Ben Stokes leading the table at 136

The series also marked his return to international cricket after the conclusion of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy. Earlier, Pant was out of action as he was recovering from his foot injury that he sustained during the England Test series
